A Word From the Owner

This place is more than a business to me, it’s a sanctuary, a place to come to escape the stress of the world outside of the gates.

I’m here every day, not because I have to be, but because this is what I love. Caring for animals is a privilege. It gives me a sense of purpose. It humbles me to earn a horses trust. More importantly, it allows me to connect without devices, connection earned with dirty boots and time in the saddle.

With two rescue dogs, two horses, and two kittens always around, I’m reminded daily of the simple but powerful bond between humans and animals. That's the kind of community I'm building at Honey Island Farms. A community that values hard work, connection, and trust.

I hope you'll come join us.

Built for Horses. Made for Gathering.

What started as a working barn has grown into something more, a place for small events, birthday parties and  gatherings with family & friends.

Julia was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We look forward to riding lessons.

Thank you.

Quality care.

Quiet land.

The kind of peace that settles a horse.

The kind of care you feel without words.

Feels like home because it is.

Stop Feeling Guilty

We built this place for people like you: The kind of owners who expect more because they care deeply. A horse isn't just a horse; it's family.

This is the kind of care you thought didn’t exist.

  • Newly renovated, clean, safe stalls.

  • Reliable turnout.

  • Clear communication, and follow-through.

  • A very involved and active owner.

  • 24 hour surveillance and owner lives right off property. You can trust your horse is always being looked after.

Your Horse Deserves More Than This

Honey Island Farms Horses

You've tried other stables, maybe a few. But the story repeats itself:

You've paid more, expected better and still ended up stressed and worried about your horse.

  • Stalls too small or too dirty.

  • Pastures worn down.

  • Staff who skip feedings, ignore instructions or worse.

  • Promises made during the tour, broken by week two.

  • Missing tack, no secure storage, and no one to take responsibility.

  • Owners or staff that are never around.

We Don't Just Respect Your Animal,
We Honor IT

This Isn't A Horse Hotel, It's Home. Friendly Neighbors Included

Time here feels different. We've created a haven. A place to unplug, slow down and enjoy the time you spend here. Your horse is calm, the space is still, and for a little while stress melts away.

This place reflects the care you would give if you could do it all yourself. You can see the love we have for our animals and we're present. We find that matters more than anything.

We have barrel racers, jumpers, dressage riders, recreational riders and more sharing space. There’s always something to watch, something to learn, and something interesting going on.

Horses are strong and intelligent beings. They don’t have to give us their trust, but they do and that’s we try to honor every single day.
